The changelog for the American grocery store.

We track ingredient changes. You decide what matters to you.

What this is

This is the changelog for the American grocery store. Each page is one product as sold in the U.S., with a dated record of what its ingredient label said and when that changed.

What a status means

  • Announced — a company said this SKU, or its brand, will change. Labels on shelves may not have changed.
  • Rolling out — a new formula exists somewhere. Old stock is still on shelves.
  • Changed — a current manufacturer ingredient list or a photographed label no longer lists the tracked additives.
  • Still uses — a tracked additive is currently listed. A company-level commitment, if one exists, is noted on the brand.

What "verified" means

A product is marked verified when an editor has seen either the manufacturer's current ingredient list or a photograph of the physical label, and the date of that evidence is recorded. Announcements and news reports can open a record; they do not verify one.

Where the evidence comes from

Rank 1–3 sources carry a ✓. A source without a link or a photo cannot carry it.

  1. 1Current manufacturer ingredient list
  2. 2Manufacturer announcement
  3. 3Photograph of physical ingredient label
  4. 4FDA / government source
  5. 5Major retailer listing
  6. 6Reputable reporting
  7. 7User report

Tracked ingredients

Absence from this list is not a statement about safety.

How often we update

Weekly. The footer shows the date of the last update. We do not run a daily crawl of every U.S. label.

Corrections and takedowns

If a record is wrong, email editors@isitcleanyet.com with the product and a photo or link. Corrections are logged on the product's timeline. Rights holders may request removal of a pack shot at the same address.

Who runs this

An independent editorial project. No brand funding. No affiliate links. The work is reading labels, filing sources, and publishing a dated record.

What we do not do

We do not score products. We do not give health advice. We do not rank brands.

Updated weekly. We track ingredient changes. You decide what matters to you.
