Hershey has announced that Jolly Rancher Gummies Awesome Reds will remove Red 40, Yellow 6 and Blue 1. Current labels may still list them. Announced Jun 30, 2025. Source: smartlabel.hersheys.com.
A change has been announced.
Hershey told FDA it will remove certified colors from its snacks, including Jolly Rancher and Twizzlers, by the end of 2027. The current SmartLabel (smartlabel.hersheys.com) ingredient list still shows Red 40, Yellow 6 and Blue 1.
